Mackenzie was born and raised in Alabama, and spent her upbringing on the softball field and in sketchbooks. She loves bold color, humanist illustrations, and work that is fun. In all her work she strives to invoke moods in her audience, and encourages play within mediums.

Mackenzie earned her BFA in illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design where she graduated with top honors. Since graduating, Mackenzie has worked as a freelance illustrator and designer, screen print artist, and graphic designer for a federal contractor.

Her client list includes Jacob’s Space Exploration Group, Trek Bikes, Colectivo Coffee, Innerspace Brewing, Sewing Down South, Integration Innovation Inc and more.

Mackenzie lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband and pets.
